Tattoos & body piercing have been a part of my life since I was a kid. Growing up, my dad was pretty covered, so I knew at a young age I wanted to be just like him. My own first experience with a tattoo shop was right here at Headlight Tattoo. My dad has had his tattoos done by the one & only Harry Ake. So, when it was time for me to get my first piercing it was only right to come to Headlight. Over the years I was in & out of the chairs at Headlight getting tattooed & pierced until finally I decided to take a chance and fill out an application to be a shop girl. I was hired in 2011 & I've been here ever since. After a couple short months I began my training as a piercing apprentice & loved it. Almost a year later, Harry decided it was time to move forward with my career & offered me the opportunity of a lifetime. I signed on to become a tattoo apprentice & I couldn't be happier. Harry & my co-workers took a lot of time & effort to help me learn my craft. I'm humbled to say that I'm still learning & evolving as an artist & I hope for it to always be that way.
